As I stated in the last blog that Moya Brennan is my favorite singer. As I started to collect all her albums and learn more about her, I found out that she was the lead singer for the popular Celtic band Clannad. Clannad was comprised of her two brothers & two uncles. Her sister Enya sang back up for them before becoming a solo artist. The first Clannad album I ever purchased was “Banba” & then “Pastpresent“. I quickly collected all of there albums as well. Clannad has a number of albums available and they are all amazing! Their first major hit was Theme From Harry’s Game which was featured the movies “Harry’s Game” & “Patriot Games”. The second was a duet Clannad did with Bono of U2 on the song “In A Lifetime” and their 3rd biggest hit was the love theme from the movie “The Last Of The Mohicans” called I Will Find You. It is so hard to choose a favorite but if I had to pick one, it would be “Landmarks”. I also put together a CD for my car of some my favorite Clannad songs. Again it was so hard to choose songs as I had to cut a lot of great songs out. If you click on each song, it will take you to a site where you can listen to the song. Here is the list in no particular order:
1. Ri Na Cruinne from the album Anam
2. The Bridge Of Tears from the album Landmarks
3. Trail Of Tears from the album Lore
