No Greater Love/Michelle Tumes

April 15, 2010

Last year I found out that Michelle Tumes did the music for a film called “No Greater Love“. It came out last year and was released to DVD in January. It was put out by Lionsgate Films. I got it through netflix.com on DVD and watched it tonight. Here is the www.imdb.com plot for the movie:
Jeff and Heather Baker were life long sweethearts and happily married… for a time. But at her greatest moment of weakness, Heather abandons Jeff, forcing Jeff to raise their young son alone. Ten years later, through a God ordained encounter, Jeff and Heather meet again. They must wrestle with forgiveness, reconciliation and the pressing of the Savior on their hearts.
The reason I wanted to watch the movie is because I knew that Michelle did the music. Michelle is one of my favorite singers. The film features songs from her albums (primarily her newest album) as well as original compositions written for the film. Michelle also included a couple songs by the group Downhere and West Coast Revival.  It was a great movie and I would reccomend it to all. Here is a picture of when I met Michelle in Los Angeles four years ago:
